Your wedding will forever be a magic and unique day. However, these precious moments will flash by and you’ll soon wake up from this fantastic dream of yours…Your photo album will constitute the visual memory of your wedding, and you will enjoy flicking through its pages many a time: they’ll bring you straight back into your emotions on that wonderful day.
Here are a few tips to make sure you make the most of your wedding day pictures. First of all, you have to know that your wedding day will be the busiest day in the year (if not in your life..) and it is important to fix the photograph matter quite early before the event.
Take advice from other people: among your friends, or your friends’ friends, there must be some people who have already dealt with professional photographers and who can tell you if they were satisfied or not. By word of mouth, you can easily find your personal photographer and know what you can arrange with him or her.
Your photo-album’s quality and originality will depend on the agreements you’ll come to with your photographer, including precise details on the pricing. Besides, if you go for a bunch of amateur photographers (friends, cousins, uncles) make sure you provide them with many films so that no one runs short before the end of the party.
Your actual photo album may be chosen by the maid of honour, or by the bride herself, or anyone willing to contribute with an amazing idea. Taking the necessary time to choose it will have a positive effect: if you rush at the last minute to your supermarket to get a standard photo album (usually sold for holiday snapshots), you may feel a bit disappointed in the end.
The way your wedding pictures will be presented is as important as the pictures themselves. Your photo album has to look like a unique object, a book filled with intimate moments of joy: therefore, make sure you get one that speaks for itself. A personalized cover, an effective thematic or chronological structure and also: the exact number of pages. Indeed, it is a pity when a wedding photo album is not full: it seems like some pictures are definitely missing. Many varieties of photo albums are available in shops, but you may also enjoy having it hand-crafted by someone skilful or bought from an artisan.
Among the moments that must not be missed by the picture shooter(s), there is of course the bride and groom’s dressing up and last preparations, the arrival of the couple at church or at the city hall, the vows and rings’ exchange, the first toast and champagne pouring, the memorable group’s “cheesy” smiles, the buffet and feast tables, the dancing, the tears in dad’s eyes… Hopefully, every picture in your photo-album will be a blissful snapshot of your own special wedding day.

Wedding Photos…?
I was wondering what the etiquette was on the wedding photos? Are the bride and groom supposed to give their bridal party pictures of the wedding or are they just supposed to give everyone a wallet size with the thank you card? I don’t know what the proper etiquette is or if there is proper etiquette to giving pictures. I thought that if you were in a wedding you would automatically receive pictures from the couple for being in their wedding. I’m not talking about receiving a whole photo album but 3-4 pics.
My son was in my uncle’s wedding as the ring bearer in August 2006 and all we received was a wallet with the thank you card. Of course I took my own pics but how does the bridal party take pics if they are the ones standing up there?
Actually that is totally up to the bride and groom.It is a very nice gesture to give a photo to your attendents but that could get pricey if you order them from your photographer… I actually just sent them a thank you note and a picture with them in it of some kind…I don’t remember but I know it wasn’t a professional one. I didn’t have the money …I think they would ask you to order them one if they wanted one..But if you can afford it ,,It would be a nice gesture..
