Wedding Planning on A Budget

Wedding planning is one of the most exciting, yet notoriously expensive events in a couple’s life. With some simple strategies and little creativity, you can have the wedding you’ve been dreaming of without breaking the bank! If you follow this guide for wedding planning, you can save money and have the magnificent wedding that you deserve. Just think what you two can do with all of the money you save just by following a few simple steps.

The first item on the agenda is to determine a reasonable budget that you can work within; be realistic yet aggressive. This is a concrete budget and not a range. Do not give yourself any wiggle room! Once you decide on a number, then the fun begins. When choosing a venue, do not rule out a natural outdoor setting like the beach or a garden; these locations will always be a romantic and inexpensive option. Even if you always pictured a church wedding, be willing to relax your frame of mind and consider a different, but just as sacred locale. You can also have the reception at that same outdoor venue. You can have nature’s most beauty surrounding you and your guests on your special day while not spending money on the rental of any particular venue and eliminating unnecessary transportation. Soon after nailing down a location, you need to work out the food situation. It’s easy to call up a catering service and place an order but you can cut costs dramatically by doing a bar-b-q or a potluck. Get creative and talk to people you know; there might be a chef-in-training that needs some banquet experience. Network; explore your options before paying for a caterer.

Next, you need to look at ways to save on decorations and Cheap Wedding Party Favors. After the color theme and the venue have been established, you can let your imagination do the rest of the work. The aisle runner, floral embellishments, and centerpieces are all small details of your wedding but they can bring everything together so nicely when done correctly. Using silk floral embellishments wherever possible can be more cost efficient because they can be recycled and reused and don’t cost all that much to begin with. Cheap Wedding Party Favors are a must since each guest will be getting one. Choose something that compliments your theme and says a little something about you. Also, the centerpieces can be hand-made to create a more unique aspect to your wedding. You can gather your own flowers like sunflowers or chrysanthemums and set them in a simple vase at the center of each table. This will save a lot of money and it may suit your style perfectly! Try an impromptu contest or raffle that will allow one couple from each table to keep the centerpiece, putting it to good use and preventing you from having to throw it away later. Candles and key chains are a couple inexpensive favors that can be very cute and useful as well.

Finally, perhaps the most exciting part of planning a wedding is finding the perfect dress. You and your dress will be the focal point of every photo and the shining star of the day, so finding the ideal dress is essential. Along with the dress, there are also accessories to consider like shoes, undergarments, and of course the garter. These accessories are rarely considered in the initial budget and if you are not careful they will raise the price of your wedding.

Whether you have a fortune to spend or you need to pinch the pennies, your perfect wedding awaits. With just a little bit of planning and a strong vision you can have the wedding of your dreams AND stay within your budget.

What Equipment do I need to take Pictures for a Wedding??!?

I have a Sony Alpha 200. Ive been work has been in newspapers, i have won contests, and been on postcards for remax Realtor. soo…

Im 16 and my dad asked me to take photos for his wedding coming up in a few months. He said he’d buy me the equipment i need…Lens and External Flash etc… Ive bought two books on how to shoot photos for weddings both by Scott Kelby. So if you can tell me what Equipment i will need that would be great

Thanks For Your Help!!!

oh and btw i have
-extra dslr
-extra batteries
-carry case

It depends on where the wedding will be take place and your personal style. Here’s my advice.

Lenses – f/2.8 or better, Zoom something like 24-70mm, you want something that can do wide angle and a little bit of telephoto. Another option is get a 50mm prime lens that’s like f/1.8 or better (f/1.4 ideally). With the 50mm prime, you can get some great background blur too.

Flash – good external flash that can rotate and change angle. That’ll come in handy. I’d advise that you should get a diffuser box to go over the front.

Memory – Make sure you more than enough memory cards, ideally high speed. You want to just be able to shoot and shoot and shoot without hesitating. You could miss a great candid moment.

Batteries – You can’t be dying mid-way through the wedding. Extras for the camera (or make sure you’re fully charged) and extras for the flash especially.

You want to be flexible so that you can catch candids and be able to deal with low light.

John Travolta traded in disco duds for a cowboy hat in this corny love story about a working man who breaks up with his girlfriend (Debra Winger), then plays out their relationship’s turmoil inside a huge honky-tonk called Gilley’s. The story essentially parallels Travolta’s prior hit film, Saturday Night Fever, in its blend of ordinary life, incomplete relationships, and personal pride channeled…
